Satie Time to toll the evening bell Erik maitre de chapelle Solemn music fills the Paris sky Listen, roses can be heard Counterpoints and without words A song that tells us you had laughing eyes You bear losses and crosses, vexations At home, alone, alone It’s irony that brought me here But you’re about to disappear behind your curtain of thorns divine You spun a web, shut the door Left the world behind once more Surrounded by the relics of your time Alone, alone On your own 27 years alone Hereupon a vagabond when you passed on, pass on On your own 27 years alone What have you done You got blood from a stone In your songs Sounds of laughter of someone alone All gone, come home

Opportunities Good luck to you Run off you fools You’re feet will follow later Make way, relate There’s no escape We’ll find today tomorrow What it is baby can’t you see It’ s being here or not to be So why don’t we? Stick together baby, we got soul Heaven knows that after all We can’t live off rock & roll Stay put, hands up Hand out your love Receive, return, surrender We push and pull Then bend the rules In time for worse and better And God’s glue got me dreaming I’d stuck on you Don’t remember what we have to Just forget the things we should have done

Onandon Families out on parade Women are minding their ways Teenagers drawn by the fire And bellies filled with desire Mothers and fathers, brothers and sons Daughters, sisters, all and then some Remember the story is old It goes on and on Old men drowning their tears They’re drunk from an orgy of years All part of the plot and the fun A history of righting our wrongs Mothers and fathers, brothers and sons Daughters, sisters, all and then some Remember the story is old It goes on and on and on Bound to bond and love and mourn And on and on and on And so it goes, We give what we get, Yet what they know Is what we’re told So you might add a little hurt Add a little hope next time But in this life This time we’re lost and it goes on "Matter over mind" We made the change from science to movement Romantic conceit evermore Might know what we know, like we think that we’re thinking But the sun has set here before And somebody spoke of a light in the distance Too far away to aware But your kiss is a kiss is a kiss and I’m waiting for roses to grow anywhere

Come back to me You got to come back to me I’ll paint you the picture I’ll write you poetry Devote my life to All you need is love Although I prefer to be Somewhat lonesome And comfort worries me You unleash an awful lot of Take my hand Bend my will Hold me tight Kiss and thrill But give me a life before you leave Because you got to come back to me You got to make way for me You got to come back to me Make way for me Come back to me and tell me I’m not the only one in love You got to come back to me Home’s where the hurt is Where hugs and hostility Go hand in hand With elegance and ease Crack your whip Break my will Hold me tight Kiss me still But give me your love before you leave Because you got to come back to me

Everything goes Everything goes you just have to wait You think that you know some but it’s all going to change Our world on the wane? Was it ever the same? Get a hold of grip you might lose it again Waiting and wondering see years passing by We’ve lost some good faith but our hope’s still alive When the flower is ready soon the bee uninvited will come for its bloom Everything goes you just have to wait The tide flows with the waves A walk on the beach leaves footsteps behind The memory sticks in the mind Whatever the cost of loving and trust Remember it is not going to last It all fades to grey gets blown away and finally lost in the past A dream without sleep is a nightmare that’s real The future will hold what we try to reveal Like who wins the war, who is tough Please wake me up, I’ve seen enough And everything goes you just have to wait The tide flows with the waves Here comes the sea to swallow the beach Memories washed out of reach Whatever the cost of hating and loss Remember it’s not going to last It all fades to grey gets blown away and finally lost in the past

The vanity of our affairs I saw the sun I saw the light touch my skin and it felt warm I heard a sigh (he heard his sigh) I heard my sigh I hurt my lungs and it burnt my tongue as air went by These words I meant to speak But it’s silence that we reap This land is a wasteland A "taste land" for bitter and for sweet On my lips, so gently kissed I perceived lament and hiss Lightning strikes, as known hereby, sometimes twice And then I found what I came here for The relics of our Civil War Trenches, blackened trees and mud up to our knees These words I meant to speak But it’s silence that we reap This land is a wasteland A "taste land" for bitter and for sweet This land is a wasteland It’s the vanity of our affairs

Over the country Round and round and round we go Sky above and earth below To oversee the country, just hold on Here’s our house and the playground A memory of things to come Listen to me, when you think it’s gone Whatever comes of this Tomorrow never knows I’m far away and close On your radio in a song that goes We’re floating over waving hands Slow rivers, flattest land Hear what can be heard there on the ground Bells are ringing, choirs singing People bringing praise in churches Listen to us, we believe in sound Whatever comes of this Tomorrow never knows I’m far away and close On your radio in a song that goes Round and round In cities and through towns It all comes down to airwaves filled with sound Whatever comes of this Tomorrow never knows I’m far away and close On your radio in a song that goes

Too much There’s nothing out there But it’s taking toll of me Sounds of nightlife in a quite street You rise to find me But I hide from where you are Keep your distance, you’re not that far away It’s too much, too soon You’re in these words you’re in my tune It’s too much, too soon To write a song about you It’s too much But still it’s not enough Whatever happens There’s no tomorrow just today We need some sleep But I prefer to stay awake Midnight fire throws its flames against the panes When your embrace burns my skin again It’s too much, too soon You’re in these words you’re in my tune It’s too much, too soon To write a song about you It’s too much But still it’s not enough

Don’t change My god I felt charmed When you said you were lonely Then it came to me We’re no dying breed And I’m not the only one It would take out the fun of ‘still being alone’ But I knew I’d surrender You don’t pick a fight at the end of your life with someone much stronger Don’t ever change, sweet heir of my ways Just state that I’m lovely, babe For the monster in me, is a fragile beast When you put your arms around me You need not say hush Ole bigmouth’s not crying We cannot correct these simple facts Being born, living life and dying You came rather close, to admit I suppose You were hurting to hurt me Yes it’s hard when you’re near the finish my dear But please please please take it lightly Don’t ever change, sweet heir of my ways Just state that I’m lovely, babe For the monster in me, is a fragile beast When you put your arms around me My god I felt charmed When you said you were lonely Then it came to me, our blood is cheap Soon left as the only one Don’t ever change

Wonderboy, wiseman, prophet Wonderboy delivered lightly Slightly mad but lucid in the long run The stage, the play, the puppeteer Waiting for the lord to lead that someone We can only stare till he’s gone Always on his own What went wrong He dwelled on generations past A wiseman, a prophet in the long run Beauty can’t be overseen Heaven’s in the leaves of green On the spot where you can always meet him He will only stare into the sun Proud and on his own what went wrong We can only stare till he’s gone Always on his own Not that wrong Cause heaven is a place I mean heaven is a place Heaven is a place for us to stay

Better Man Could have been a better man A better lover and a better friend I could have been what I was told to be Could have been what you wanted to But I never do the things I should Will I become what I have been all along It takes time to find your life And a life to find that time It takes as little as we know It takes passion, it takes peace Fights and disbelief But where life leads you, you must go Could have been a poet or Simply be the boy next door Off to war, a soldier smoking roses I have had my money’s worth Bought and sold and feinted hurt But destiny is the ground beneath our feet It takes time to find your life And a life to find that time It takes as little as we know It takes passion, it takes peace Fights and disbelief But where life leads you, you must go When it all comes down When it all blows up When the choices have been made When it all blows up When it all comes down It takes time to find your life And a life to find that time It takes as little as we know It takes passion, it takes peace Fights and disbelief But where life leads you, you must go

Solo's second album, with a high emphasis on the use of synthesizers, though still with the warmth Solo is renowned for. Solopeople is about people who decide to live on their own and who, by that, build their own world.
Solopeople was very well received and brought forth Solo's first hit single "Come back to me".
